Man charged in fire that razed California Home Depot, sent shoppers ‘running for their lives’

Gogue allegedly stole goods from a community Bass Professional shop earlier in the working day, lit the fireplace close to 5:30 p.m neighborhood time (8:30 p.m. ET), and tried using to leave Dwelling Depot “with a cart containing tools,” the information release mentioned.

He was stopped by a Household Depot employee and fled in an additional person’s car then afterwards stole things from a nearby Macy’s.

Gogue was arrested Friday and was arraigned Tuesday afternoon. He did not enter a plea at the hearing, NBC Bay Region noted. He’s due back again in court for a plea hearing June 1.
