On a demanding block of just 177sq m, Chahid understood the tiny foot-print was also crammed with ‘opportunities to get creative’.
‘Our goal was to uncover a harmony amongst how much to retain and how significantly to demolish to maximise area and boost liveability with an open, free-flowing floor program that designed perception when mixed with the present construction,’ he explains.
Retaining neighbourhood character and the original Edwardian attraction was another important variable in the venture. The renovation observed the property keep its entrance facade and humble origins, with a ‘modern surprise’ at the rear. Rearranging and extending the home secured the addition of 3rd bedroom, although also producing new entertainment places with double-peak ceilings. To make up for the decreased lawn, the savvy style involves a next stage with a multi-purpose place and outside terrace previously mentioned.
But a true spotlight of the refreshed home is its astonishing, netted cover, suspended over the dwelling, kitchen area and eating home! The hammock-fashion zone and spiral staircase also connects the light and vibrant downstairs to the mezzanine degree.

Chahid also notes that what the property lacks in space, it now would make up for in persona!
